Waterside Retreat Home is great for a family or group of ten looking to stay a month or longer on beautiful Sanibel Island. This four-bedroom/four-bath, private pool home (additional cost to heat pool) is located on the East End of the island and has its own private beach! Not only is this home equipped with everything you need to make your beach vacation perfect, it’s also only 0.5 miles from the Sanibel Lighthouse and Fishing Pier, and only a short walk to local restaurants and shops!
HOME FEATURES
You can’t get any closer to the water than Waterside Retreat! This home is a large island retreat featuring spectacular views over San Carlos Bay, its own private beach, a heated enclosed pool (additional cost for heat- must request at time of booking) and hot tub, tropical foliage, and a unique floor plan allowing for separate living spaces. You’ll truly feel like you’re on your own island oasis.
The luxury-style pool area is surrounded by tropical lush that gives you plenty of privacy from the passing boats but doesn’t hide any of the views. The large heated pool (additional fee for heat) is on the ground floor with plenty of lounge space, along with enough space to keep any kayaks or bikes you decide to rent. The patio, which overlooks the bay, is perfect for a relaxing night or to witness some of Florida’s best wildlife. If you’re not swimming, enjoy a walk out to your own small private beach that is great for kids to enjoy and allows for the adults to watch over them from the balcony.
Waterside Retreat large living and dining area is perfect for a large group while enjoying the view and the sound of the waves hitting the shore through the large picture windows. The living room also features a large Smart TV – great for watching movies on your own Netflix account!
The fully equipped kitchen opens up to the patio and gives you jaw-dropping views of the bay area. With plenty of seating inside and out, you can enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast nook, make a cocktail at the kitchen bar, or have the whole group sit on the patio for a home-cooked meal. Regardless of where you are eating and drinking, you won’t believe the views!
The master suite area can be closed off from the main living space and features its own sitting area with exquisite views from the open windows, along with a separate entrance to the pool area. The first bedroom, or the master bedroom, is equipped with a king-size bed, walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom that includes dual sinks and a jetted tub. The second bedroom within the master suite area features another king-size bed with a shower/tub combination, which leads out into the main living space.
The guest suite has its own private entrance located off from the main kitchen and patio area featuring two bedrooms, a sitting area and is located on the opposite side of the house from the master suite. The first bedroom features a queen bed, along with a daybed that has a trundle bed underneath that can be pulled out. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The second bedroom of this living space is equipped with two double beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
